Many cities throughout the USA, Canada, Australia and elsewhere utilize CPTED standards as a way to build offices, residences and commercial space with security in minds during the architectural process.

CPTED reduces the amount and expense of costly electronic security and seeks to maximize such things as natural surveillance, natural access control and a psychological element known as "territorial reinforcement" to secure a building. Although many practitioners are using CPTED for exterior building design or car parks, we are among the few CPTED practitioners to take these principles inside the build space, including work space.

For CPTED to be successful, we must be called into the project prior to architectural designs being finalized. The best placement of our CPTED services comes during the "schematic architectural phase" of the project.

Security Design

Perhaps a client has already finalized their architectural plans and is moving forwards with construction. However, security and security systems have not been designed on a detailed level. For these clients we can move directly into a process of Needs Analysis, Systems Specifications, Conceptual Design and formulating an Engineering Package.
